Epic emotional rollercoaster. HFS. I needed a box of tissues and clean panties while reading Brise. Leigh Ann Lunsford keeps outdoing herself with each new release. Luke and Phoebe are soulmates. They meet when he is seven and she is four. Right away they are drawn to eachother and become best friends until hormones kick in. Phoebe and Luke love eachother and he’s got a plan only he doesn’t share it with her. Typical male. Will he lose Pheobe before they’ve even begun? Tragedy stikes and it marks the beginning of a angsty tear filled journey for Luke and Phoebe. She needs to find herself and heal before she can love Luke the way he deserves but he might not be willing to wait. Just as you think it’s going to be ok bam tragedy strikes over and over. Can these two have a HEA? Or are they doomed? Leigh Ann Lunsford will keep you on the edge of a emotional rollercoaster until the very end. Expect to have quite the book hangover after reading Brise. Thank you for a wonderful journey Leigh Ann.

Can you say #1 read of 2015, hands down. It’s going to take something nuclear to wipe this book from my mind. Leigh Ann is one of my top favorite authors, I’ve read and absolutely loved every single book she’s written, but damn this book, this book right here BLEW them out of the freakin water. It’s on a shelf all it’s own. Phoebe and Luke’s story is one that ripped my heart out, repeatedly. I’m not even kidding, it takes a lot for me to ugly cry when I read a book. Leigh Ann did this to me, through the entire book! You’d think lifelong friends could trust one another fully, tell each other every single thought, and just be happy with one another. Well that’s far from the truth with Phoebe and Luke, they both need to learn how to be happy, learn how to grow and just be Phoebe and just be Luke, not Phoebe and Luke. Now of course this isn’t easy and my heart breaks page after page for these two. Holy crap did Leigh Ann pull me into the story and didn’t let go until the very last word. I felt like I was standing on the outside of a window watching their lives unfold, all the good, the bad, and the devastating hurt they both go through. Don’t get me wrong, there is happy in this book and some laugh out loud moments and parts where I am speechless. I can’t even begin to understand how Leigh Ann wrote this book, she did a fantastic job. It’s flawless, just flows from one page to the next, from one emotion to the complete opposite. I was pulling for these two the entire way and just when you think it’s going to be okay NOT even close. OMG I really thought my heart stopped beating, that it fell out. I can’t even tell you how she mind f*cked me. Bravo Leigh Ann, Bravo. I had to stop, put my kindle down and breath. I have NEVER done that before. Never ever. I could not believe what I read, I was shocked. I loved it, omg did I love it. Don’t make any thoughts of what will happen, because you will be wrong and Leigh Ann will be sitting here laughing her evil laugh at us all. And yeah the title is perfect, Brisé -(literally “broken”) a ballet term. Ah yes, this is perfect because I was so broken after reading this story. I loved every single word. I loved every twist, every turn and every smile shared. I will definitely read this book again and again. Thank you Leigh Ann for being a writer who knows how to connect with your readers, how to pull them so far in that they feel every word you poured out of your heart. I only wish I could give this 10 STARS!!!

Leigh Ann Lunsford is stay at home mom turned author. She writes Romance/New Adult and loves her happily ever after in all books and movies. She lives with her husband, son, and four dogs in Fleming Island, Florida. When she isn’t writing or reading you can find her stuck in front of really bad reality shows or watching Sons of Anarchy. Leigh Ann has a filthy mouth and a huge amount of sarcasm that knows no end. She hopes to give the voices in her head an outlet with many more novels to come.
